THERAPEUTIC MASSAGE THERAPIST
Nicole Walder studied Sports science at Rhodes University in Grahamstown, finishing with her Honours in ergonomics. The ergonomics background allows her to advise clients to achieve the correct posture in the workplace and everyday life through releasing tight musculature and fascia. She also prescribes strengthening exercises for long term postural support.
Furthermore, Nicole studied Remedial and Therapeutic Massage at Boulder College of Massage Therapy in Colorado, USA. In Germany she gained a great deal of experience working in a physiotherapy practice for 4 years, learning a wide variety of techniques. Her background in Sports Science gives Nicole a much deeper understanding of the human body when compared to the average massage therapist. Her specialisation in sports and remedial therapeutic massage has enabled her to help a variety of clients, including some of South Africa’s top athletes.
