“In practicing Yoga, I have an inner awareness of coming home to myself on the mat and the psychotherapist in me knows the value of this ‘connectedness to self’ as a portal to self-discovery and self-acceptance. My desire to teach Yoga is about sharing this healing practice with others.”

ELZANNE WOLFAARDT is a certified Vinyasa-Ashtanga yoga teacher. She first put foot to the path of Yoga in 2006 and has been fascinated by the numerous ways in which Yoga has contributed to her wellbeing ever since. Her first teacher introduced her to the balance between the feminine and masculine energies as is revealed through the flow and control of a Vinyasa-Ashtanga practice.
In 2016 Elzanne journeyed to the foothills of the Himalayas in India to learn from the people and places where Yoga first originated. It was here that she completed her Yoga Teacher training with Yogi Shiva Darshan. This experience taught her that our ability is less important, than the willingness of the heart and mind to move forward, and be guided by breath to unlock deeper places that reside within us ”.
“Vinyasa Yoga in its purest form, mimics the movements found in nature, and therefore allows the body to move according to its innate rhythm.
Elzanne’s yoga sessions incorporate Pranayama (breath-work) along with basic and more challenging Asanas. Students of all levels are welcome!
